Moreover, the Association of Fundraising Professionals likewise also named TRF the World’s Outstanding Foundation for 2016, an award previously given to other familiar names such as Kellogg and MacArthur.

Began our fight against polio in 1979 with a project to immunize 6 million children in the Philippines. Today, we have immunized nearly 3 billion children and polio remains endemic in only 2 countries (Afghanistan and Pakistan) — down from 125 in 1988.
Refuse to accept conflict as a way of life and provide training that fosters understanding and provides communities with the skills to resolve conflicts.
Combat diseases like malaria, HIV/AIDS, and polio. As prevention is also important, we also focus on health education and bringing people routine hearing, vision, and dental care.
Make high-quality health care available to vulnerable mothers and children so they can live longer and grow stronger.
Provide clean water, sanitation, and hygiene education because they are basic necessities for a healthy environment and a productive life.
Strengthen the capacity of communities to support basic education and literacy, reduce gender disparity in education, and increase adult literacy.

In 2020 – 21, a total of US$384 million has been spent to support various initiatives around the world.
To facilitate our Clubs to do good in the world, various types of Grants have also been approved to cover our projects under 7 Area of Focus.
Rotarians have also made generous contribution to TRF because we are committed to do good in the world. In 2020 – 21, a record high donation US$440.9 million has been achieved.

TRF Donations Results in Past 12 Years
Among the total contribution, US$149.9 million has been designated to end Polio and the balance has been utilized to support our projects around the world.
To recognize the generous donors and encourage more Rotarians to contribute, different recognition will be awarded to both individual and club donors.
