Objectives:

Targeting at the villages are 96% Buyei (布依族) ethnic minority, with a net income of CNY1,700 (USD266) per capita, who currently lack clean, safe, drinking water due to severe drought conditions and harsh geographical location, the objective of this project is to provide clean, safe drinking water for the three villages located in Feng Zhuan Cun Bai Keng Zu, in the Sha Zhai Pian Region of Mochongzhen, about 58 km from nearest city (Duyun city) in the isolated mountainous region on the outskirts of Guizhou province of the People’s Republic of China.

Project Description:

Intake tank with volume of 30 cubic meters, in rectangular shape, 5m long, 3m wide, 2.2m high has been constructed at the proposed water take point at altitude 902m.

High pool, which is connected with 4 water supply pipes, 1 clean and wash pipe, and 1 over flow pipe, has also been constructed by mixture of bricks and masonry with minimum thickness of 0.6m.
