The Rotary Club of Macau President, Li Ying said: \u201cWomen&#8217;s health is something that is very close to our hearts. We want to help those who have lost income and have to go the supermarket debating if they should buy food or personal hygiene products.\u201d She mentioned that the inspiration partially came from recent news from Scotland, where by law feminine hygiene products are distributed for free to all women in an effort to fight \u201cperiod poverty\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"eplus-wrapper wp-block-paragraph\">Referring to this year\u2019s Rotary theme \u201cImagine Rotary\u201d, President Li Ying said, \u201cas a female president, I would like to Imagine Rotary not only as a humanitarian organization, but also as an agent of change that will guide people\u2019s ideas and values for a more diverse, equitable and inclusive society.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"eplus-wrapper wp-block-paragraph\">Caritas has been a long-time partner of the Rotary Club of Macau. In September 2020, the Rotary Club of Macau together with the Rotary Club of Penha donated diapers and baby formula to Caritas to be distributed among female migrant workers who had new-born babies.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"eplus-wrapper wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"coblocks-animate eplus-wrapper wp-block-heading\" data-coblocks-animation=\"fadeIn\"><strong>About Our Organization:<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"eplus-wrapper wp-block-paragraph\">Rotary Club of Macau was established in 1947 and is the second eldest Club in District 3450.
