The health of mothers is essential for the survival and development of their children, and the health of children is vital for the future of society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"eplus-wrapper wp-block-paragraph\">As this complex issue is influenced by a variety of factors, including social, economic and politic factors, this is where Rotary comes in. Through your support, The Rotary Foundation has made significant contributions to improving Maternal and Child Health through various programs and initiatives.<\/p>\n<\/div><figure eplus-styles-uid-8dff79 wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:21px\"><strong>DO YOU KNOW<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center has-sitebg-color has-text-color eplus-wrapper eplus-styles-uid-02f02f wp-block-paragraph\">US$2 million from The Rotary Foundation has been granted to 2021-22 Programs of Scale award recipient \u201cTogether for Healthy Families in Nigeria\u201d to reduce maternal and neo-natal mortality rate by improving health seeking behavior and quality care for pregnant women, mothers, and newborns in Nigeria.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"eplus-wrapper wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center eplus-wrapper wp-block-paragraph\">Being passionate to make a difference in the Maternal and Child Health challenges,<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center has-azure-color has-text-color eplus-wrapper eplus-styles-uid-5fc8ec wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>In 2021 \u2013 2022, 90 Global Grant projects amounting US$5.4M have been carried out under \u201cMaternal and Child Health\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"eplus-wrapper wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center eplus-wrapper wp-block-paragraph\">In view of the above,<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center eplus-wrapper eplus-styles-uid-1fab2a wp-block-paragraph\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-azure-color\"><strong>Clubs of D3450 were also actively involved in Global Grant (GG) projects under this Area of Focus. <\/strong><\/mark><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);color:#1d6024\" class=\"has-inline-color\"><strong>Among them, 8 of them have played the role of Host Partners and carried out 17 GG projects to do good in the world. <\/strong><\/mark>To showcase their excellent work, the following pages summarize the GG projects with D3450 Clubs as Hosts.<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"eplus-wrapper wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center eplus-wrapper wp-block-paragraph\">Facing this global challenges, it\u2019s time for your Club to carry out Global Grant project to
