Project Description:
The Rehabilitation Center of the Maternal and Child Hospital is the only facility in the country that is in charge of treating physically handicapped children with physical therapy and rehabilitation after surgery, as well as children from all over the country (including rural areas) who come to the hospital for treatment. At the same time, they also treat new-borns who are born with disabilities. Nevertheless, their limited facilities have made it impossible to provide treatment that meets international standards and allow wheelchair-bound children to enter and exit. The project has provided the facility with toilets and shower rooms that are accessible to wheelchair-bound children, as well as equipment required for their rehabilitation. In addition, a corner with a massager was also created where parents could rest while their children were being rehabilitated.
