Hong Kong Red Cross Blood Transfusion Service announced to present the “Elite Partnership Award 2023 (Community Partners)” to Rotary International District 3450 on 10th June 2023.
The selfless act of blood donation, small but creates profound and far-reaching positive impacts. RID3450 continued support of their blood donation programmes over the years, especially during the challenges posed by the recent pandemic.
The Rotary International District 3450 covers Hong Kong, Macao, and Mongolia, and has 110 Rotary clubs with more than 2,800 Rotary club members. Every year, they organize various health-related activities, including group blood donation, as well as services and promotion activities related to cardiopulmonary resuscitation, dementia, organ donation, disease prevention, and promoting vaccine injection. We contribute our strength to the treatment and prevention of diseases in various regions and live up to the Rotary motto, “Service Above Self”.
In the coming Rotary Year, we will focus on three aspects:
1. Organizing District Blood Donation Day and raising awareness in the community.
2. Encouraging the Rotary Clubs in organizing group blood donation activities in the blood donor centers frequently.
3. Liaising with different parties to co-organize the blood donation events in their community.

國際扶輪 3450地區獲得紅十字會頒發卓越夥伴大獎
香港紅十字會輸血服務中心宣佈於2023年6月10日頒發卓越夥伴大獎(2023年)—社區夥伴予國際扶輪3450地區。
捐血是一項無私的行為，雖然微小的行為，但卻產生了深遠的、積極的影響。 多年來，3450地區 持續支持他們的獻血計劃，尤其是在最近的新冠疫情期間所帶來的挑戰。
國際扶輪3450地區覆蓋香港、澳門、蒙古，合共110個扶輪社，超過2800多名扶輪社員。 每年，他們都會組織各種與健康相關的活動，包括團體捐血，以及與心肺復蘇、失智症、器官捐獻、疾病預防、注射疫苗等相關的服務和宣傳活動。 扶輪社員為各個地區的疾病治療和預防貢獻自己的力量，實踐了扶輪社的座右銘“超我服務”。
在即將到來的扶輪年度，我們將重點關注三個方面：
1. 舉辦地區捐血日去提高社區意識。
2. 鼓勵扶輪社在捐血中心經常組織集團體捐血活動。
3. 與各方聯絡，在他們的社區共同籌組捐血活動。
